Miles records your gift cards and store credits, then checks those balances before recommending a credit card for the same merchant.
Use an existing balance first
Miles keeps gift cards and store credits in the same wallet as your credit cards. When you ask what to use at a merchant, Miles checks for an existing balance before comparing credit card rewards.
Tell Miles, “I have a $50 Amazon gift card,” and it records the balance. When you later ask what to use at Amazon, Miles recommends the gift card before a credit card.
What Miles tracks
Miles records the balance, merchant, and any note you add. It cannot read transactions or detect balance changes, so tell Miles when a balance changes.
